<\/font>长期从事天文动力学基础理论的研究,主要包括:太阳系小天体运动理论与轨道共振;动力天文的数值方法、行星流体与磁流体动力学以及行星自转动力学等,研究手段主要是理论分析和大规模数值模拟,已发表论文近百篇。
<\/font>现任中国科学院天文口“地球自转变化”创新团组首席研究员,博士生导师等职。<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>

jl_en:LIAO Xinhao received his Bachelor and Ph.D in Celestial Mechanics from Nanjing University in 1983 and 1989, respectively. He then served as a lecturer (1989-1992) and an associate professor (1992-1997) to study orbital Dynamics of celestial bodies in the Department of Astronomy, Nanjing University,andspent one yearas a visiting scholar at NorthwesternUniversity, USA,in 1995 – 1996.He joined Shanghai Astronomical Observatory in 1997<\/a>as awarded by Hundred Talent Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences, andserved as a professor of dynamical astronomy. <\/span>His research Interests include Planetary Fluid dynamics, Planetary Rotation, Celestial Mechanics, Orbital Theory of artificial satellite, Numerical Computation of differential equations.
