1、基因治疗药物研究：主要从事反义核酸、siRNA的研究，重点研究基因治疗技术在肿瘤多药抗性方面的作用机制以及药理药效学研究；肿瘤药物靶向运载体系的研究。
2、生物合成：从2001年开始从事手性药物及手性医药中间体的生物合成工作，对酶催化反应以及细胞转化反应有较深的研究，完成多项生物转化项目如非天然氨基酸的酶法拆分、酶法合成、生物转化合成等项目。
3、中药及其有效成分新功能开发。
