光电子与发光材料、特种玻璃、非氧化物玻璃。近期的主要研究课题包括：氧化物发光玻璃，包括重金属氧化物闪烁玻璃（稀土掺杂氧化物玻璃和氧化锌基氧化物玻璃）和LED照明用发光玻璃；透红外硫系玻璃，包括热成像系统夜视仪用透红外硫系玻璃－陶瓷、硫系及硫卤玻璃的二阶、三阶非线性光学性能、硫系及硫卤玻璃的红外发光性能、硫系玻璃的高能射线辐照效应等。
