个人简介
赵锐，毕业于英国赫尔大学(University of Hull)科学学院工程系，获可持续设计与技术博士学位，现任职地球科学与环境工程学院副教授，硕士研究生导师。入选西南交通大学“雏鹰学者”计划， 西南交通大学第六届青年教师教学竞赛一等奖获得者。国际环境信息科学协会会员(International Society for Environmental Information Sciences)，英国物理研究学会会员(Membership of Institute of Physics)，中国环境科学学会会员，中国可持续发展研究会会员，中国生态学会会员，中国旅英环境资源协会会员(Membership of UKCARE)。主要从事环境系统工程，环境政策与低碳可持续发展，环境风险与安全等方向的研究。先后主持有国家自然科学基金青年基金，面上项目，四川省科技支撑计划项目，广西空间信息与测绘重点实验室开放基金项目，中央高校科技创新等研究项目，参与主研成都市大气污染源排放清单编制项目，上海市社科规划课题等。先后在本领域的国内外期刊及国际学术会议以第一或通讯作者身份发表学术论文20余篇，其中8篇SCI检索，4篇EI检索（SCI与EI论文不重复计算）。1篇短文入选为2011年上海世界碳会议的主题发言（keynote presentation，共44篇），1篇论文获2013年第十一届全国博士生学术年会优秀论文奖。此外，担任四川省环境保护专项资金污染防治项目评审专家，成都市科技评估中心专家，广东省东莞市科技评估中心专家。受邀担任Environmental Energy and Economics Research杂志编委，以及多份高质量SCI国际刊物的特约审稿人，如Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Environmental Management，European Journal of Operational Research，Journal of Loss Prevention in the Process Industries等。

Dr. Rui Zhao received his PhD Degree in Sustainable Design and Technology, from University of Hull,sponsored by “Hull-China Joint Research Scholarship”. In January 2013, Dr. Rui Zhao started his career and served as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. Dr. Zhao’s current research in the field of sustainable engineering design and technology has mainly focused on mathematical modelling and computational approaches, which is capable of providing mitigation strategies to limit environmental burden, e.g. environmental risk and carbon footprint, as well as promote sustainable development. A significant proportion of my research is the interdisciplinary study, whilst using system theory to identify and analyze environmental issues in order for better decision making in the area of resource, supply chain and manufacturing management. He has a particular interest in the carbon labelling improvement, to increase performance of environmental system, as well as demonstrate industrial sustainability for environmentally friendly products, with due regard to Triple Bottom Line (TBL). Dr. Zhao has generated 20 open literature publications as the first and corresponding author.

Dr. Zhao has been engaged as a membership in various professional bodies, including:
