个人简介周祚万,博士,教授(博士生导师),四川省学术技术带头人、四川省有突出贡献优秀专家、四川省科技创业领军人才,西南交通大学材料科学与工程学院副院长,材料先进技术教育部重点实验室副主任。

论文成果在ACS Nano(IF=12.062), Nanoscale(IF=6.739), Carbon(IF=5.868), Langmuir(IF=4.356), J. Phys. Chem. C(IF=4.814), Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys.(IF=4.046)等学术刊物发表学术论文120余篇,其中:SCI和EI收录80余篇;际学术会议特邀报告15次,先后4次分别担任国际学术会议Executive Chair, Honorary Vice Chair, Local Chair 和Session Chair等职务;参编专著和教材章节5本;申报国家发明专利26项、欧洲专利1项,其中18项国家发明专利已获授权;获得四川省科技进步一等奖和三等奖各1项(均排名第1)、成都市科技进步一等奖2项(排名第1),成都市科技进步二等奖3项(排名第1,含专利银奖1项);此外,还获得了上海市优秀博士论文、桥口隆吉基金奖、詹天佑科技专项奖、茅以升科学技术奖等。研制的多功能高分子复合材料已推广到10多个行业的100多家企业,轻质隐身材料已应用于10多种重要国防装备和基地,产生了较好的国防、经济和社会效益。

Dr. Zuowan ZHOU is now a professor in Southwest Jiaotong University, and also the Director of Institute of Polymer Materials and Vice Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering, Vice Director of Key Lab of advanced Technologies of Materials (Ministry of Education, China). He received his Ph.D. from Donghua University (Shanghai, China, 2002) in Material Science, and got his Master degree from Sichuan University (Chengdu, China, 1992) in Polymer Chemistry and Physics.

Prof. Zhou has led a research group on Functional polymers, nanomaterials and ecomaterials, in which more than 50 Funding has been permitted and acquired high opinions for the finished projects. The main research grants include the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC),the Special Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China,National Hi-Tech Program (863 program) of China, National Fund for Scientific Innovation, National Defense Foundation (pre-researching and Basic Program), National Project for Key New Products, the Torch Plan for Industrialization, etc.

In recent years, Prof. Zhou presented 12 invited talks and took some academic position at International Conferences, and organized the 10th China-Japan Joint Conference on Composites Materials (2012 in Chengdu, China as Executive Chair), co-organized the 20th Annual International Conference on Composites or Nano Engineering (2012 in Beijing, China, Co-Chair), co-organized the 7th International Conference on Eco-materials Design and Processing (2006 in Chengdu, local chair). Dr. Zhou has applied for more than 20 items of Chinese Invention Patents and 1 European Patent, of which 16 Chinese Patents have been authorized. Several kinds of functional materials developed in Dr. Zhou′s group have been applied to civil or defence industries.
