唐宗祥，男，1972年3月出生，四川农业大学农学院教授，博士生导师。2006年获得生物化学与分子生物学博士学位。2012年破格晋升教授。四川省细胞生物学会理事、四川省作物学会理事。

◆研究领域
（1）从重复序列角度，研究小麦-黑麦远缘杂交后代材料的染色体结构变异以及染色体结构变异对小麦农艺性状的影响；研究重复序列如何形成基因的不同序列环境以及它们对基因表达的影响。
（2）通过创制小麦异源易位染色体，将外源有利基因导入小麦，培育小麦新品种。
