1988.1～至今：四川大学华西药学院助教、讲师、副教授、教授，博士研究生导师；四川省卫生厅学术带头人；四川省中医药管理局学术带头人。世界中医药学会联合会专业（工作）委员会理事会成员。
研究方向
中药（天然药物、民族药）新药研究与开发；中药资源及其品质研究。
主要研究课题及成果
主编和参与编写相关专业教材4部；主编学术专著1部论著：《常用藏药理化鉴别与含量测定》四川科技出版社，30万字，2002年5月出版。以第一作者或通讯联系人身份在国内外核心期刊发表论文80余篇；获发明专利3项。
以课题负责人身份承担了多项国家重点及重大课题：国家十五重大科技专项（863课题）“创新药物和中药现代化——濒危药材川贝母野生抚育、人工栽培及种子种苗人工繁育研究”；中药现代化（国家九五重点课题）——川产道地药材川贝母野生抚育及人工繁育的研究；国家九五重点攻关项目：川贝母质量标准的规范化研究；国家援藏项目：传统藏药现代化生产与开发；国家药典委员会课题：2010版川贝母新植物来源标准起草课题负责人；国家十一五科技支撑计划项目课题“川贝母种植恢复重建关键技术研究与示范”（编号：2009BAI84B02）。国家食品药品监督管理局重点课题：“藏茴香等10种藏药材及二十五味马宝丸等5种藏成药质量标准研究与建立”。

Research Interests
Research and development(R&D) of new drugs of traditional Chinese medicine (including natural medicine and ethnic drug); Research of the resource and quality of traditional Chinese medicine.
Publications
Professor Wang was the editor or was involved in the preparation of 4 relevant professional teaching materials, such as "medicinal botany," (the People's Health Press, published in August 2007, Editorial Board); "medicinal botany study guidance and exercise books," (the People's Health Press, published in August 2007 , editor-in-chief); "integrated design experimental materials," (published in August 2008, deputy editor). He was also the editor of an academic work, “Physical And Chemical Identification and Determination of Commonly used Tibetan medicine” (Sichuan publishing house of Science and Technology, 30 million words, published in May 2002).He has published more than 80 articles in the key magazine domestically and internationally at the first author or the corresponding author. Also he has received three patents for inventions.
