研究方向及科研工作：

长期从事土壤侵蚀与水土保持科研工作，目前承担973、中国科学院西部行动计划、自然科学基金和四川杰出青年学科带头人培养计划等项目课题。

社会任职、荣誉称号：

英国皇家学会博士后，曾多次到英国、美国、比利时，俄罗斯等国家进行学术访问和合作研究。现任国际SCI期刊《Agriculture, Ecosystem & Environment》编委；国际期刊《Food, Agriculture & Environment》区域编辑；《发现》杂志社副理事长；土壤学会土壤侵蚀与水土保持专业委员会委员；中国水土保持学会水土保持监测专业委员会委员和欧盟第七框架项目评审专家。
