Research
Since obtaining my PhD in 2007 I have participated in both individual and team based research projects. My research interests include e-Learning, learning technologies, and mobile learning.


Current Research
Over the past 2 years I have been supervising honours students in the areas of mobile learning, usability and learning technologies. In 2013 one of my students submitted their honours thesis entitled “e-learning to m-learning: does usability matter?”.
In 2010 I was part of a Deakin University, Strategic Teaching and Learning Grant. The projects title: thinking and working outside the square: building a community of reflective practice, this project involved researchers from multiple faculties within the university.

Whilst employed by Deakin University, I have also performed the following services:
Co-management a team that worked on a joint animation project between the school of Information technology and the AEMG group (Australian Education Management Group) to produce short animated stories about Traditional Chinese Medicine. (2011-2014)
Presented the Bachelor of Information Technology course information session at ICT course information events and at Secondary College/School outreach visits. Including: Melbourne High (Secondary School), Strathcona BGGS, Forest Hill college, etc.
Worked with the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment’s Marketing division to produce a commercial for the School of Information Technology. (2010)
Participated in the Deakin University Open Day and organized Interactive media students to take part in Open Day, and created an Interactive media Production piece to showcase students work.
Co-organizer of the 2008 BITSFEST a short film/animation festival for BIT students, and was responsible for the creation of all documentation and entry requirements.
Have run Student Introductory Information Technology Courses for Deakin University during Orientation Week.
