2001—2014年在兰州大学数学与统计学院工作;

2014至今在东北财经大学统计学院工作。
科研成果:

共发表学术论文100余篇, SCI检索论文64篇、EI检索论文28篇、ISTP检索论文5篇、CSSCI检索论文2篇及CSCD检索论文2篇、其中,在国际顶级学术期刊(SCI一区、二区)发表学术论文56篇、主持一项国家自然科学基金,完成省部级科研项目3项。其中一篇学术论文《A case study on a hybrid wind speed forecasting method using BP neural network》 被全球最大的科技出版社Elsevier出版社评为2013年度最热点的25篇文章之一,其中该论文在数学领域排名第三、在工程技术领域排名第二十一及在计算机领域排名第二十二。另一篇学术论文《Multi-step forecasting for wind speed using a modified EMD-based artificial neural network model》被世界最大的Web of Science 期刊引文索引数据库评为高引用率文章之一。截止到2014年9月29日,全球在风速预测领域仅有6篇学术论文被列入ESI高被引论文和研究前沿,而我们的研究成果位列其中,上述研究成果在国际领域引起了广泛的关注。

曾经作为兰州大学数学建模总教练,自2008年以来指导本科生共获数学建模竞赛奖197项,其中: 1)获得美国大学生数学建模比赛一等奖18项、二等奖38项;2)获得全国大学生数学建模竞赛一等奖6项,二等奖28项,甘肃省特等奖39项; 4)其余奖项70余项。

近年来指导诺贝尔奖金获得者李政道资助的“君政学者”6名、台湾清华大学“君政学者”1名及教育部国家大学生创新性实验计划项目3项(其中一项国家大学生创新性实验计划项目被评选参加2010年9月在大连举办的第三届全国大学生创新论坛,成为全国15000个项目中参展的91个项目之一)、并指导本科生在管理科学、物理及工程技术国际顶级学术期刊发表SCI检索论文13篇(SCI一区检索论文2篇、SCI二区检索论文9篇、SCI三、四区检索论文各1篇)、EI(核心版)检索论文10篇,中文核心1篇。
