个人简介
胡小鹏，男，博士，大连理工大学计算机科学与技术学院教授、博士生导师。
2000.12-2005.7 从英国帝国理工（Imperial College London）获博士学位；2000-2009年在英国Imperial College London以及university of warwick等单位学习和工作；2009.7任计算机科学与技术学院教授。

研究领域（研究课题）
长期从事计算机视觉、机器学习、分布广泛式计算、物联网及传感网络系统、基于位置的计算与服务领域的工作，先后参加或主持相关领域的科研项目。作为项目负责人承担或完成国防科研项目两项、国家自然科学基金两项、国家科技重大专项专题一项；参加其它国防科研项目三项和英国国家工程与物理科学基金委（EPSRC）资助项目四项。曾获信息产业部科技进步特等奖一项、军队科技进步二等奖一项（排名第一）。
