ProfessorGuoRongspenthiscollegelifeintheChemicalDepartmentofYangzhouTeacher’Collegeandthen
startedhisteachingcareerinYangzhouafterthegraduationin1976.In1986and1994hewenttoClarkson
UniversityintheUnitedStatestwiceasavisitingscholar.In1999hereceivedPhDdegreeinClarkson.
Prof.GuostartedhisworkingforYangzhouUniversityin1992whentheYangzhouTeachers’Collegewas
mergedintotheUniversity.In2002,hetookthepresidencyoftheUniversityandservedtillnow.
Prof.GuoholdsmembershipofChineseChemicalSociety(CCS),andmembershipofInternationalAssociationof
ColloidandInterfaceScientists.
