古德曼

Professor David S G Goodman,中文名古德曼。现为悉尼大学中国研究中心学术主任，澳大利亚社会科学院院士。主要研究领域包括：当代中国的社会和政治变迁；中国的省份研究；中共党史研究；1900-1949年间的中国社会史；中国地区间发展研究。 古德曼教授自1980年代以来，先后出版专著 Centre and Province in the People’s Republic of China（1986），Deng Xiaoping and the Chinese Revolution: A Political Biography（1994），Social and Political Change in Revolutionary China: The Taihang Base Area in the War of Resistance to Japan, 1937-1945 （2000），China’s Campaign to ‘Open Up the West’: National, Provincial and Local Perspectives（2004），The New Rich in China: Future Rulers, Present Lives (2008)，Twentieth Century Colonialism in China (2012), China’s Peasants and Workers (2012), Middle Class China (2013) 并主编了多部论著。另外古德曼教授在Journal of Contemporary China、The China Quarterly、Journal of Current Chinese Affairs等学术期刊上发表数十篇论文。
2012年，古德曼教授获选成为中华人民共和国教育部聘请的“海外名师”，将在未来4年内与南京大学、山西大学和西北师范大学进行紧密的教学、科研、学科建设等多方面合作。
