Biography Biography
Dimitris Papadopoulos is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He has received his PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Boston University in 2016 and worked as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.
His research is focused on the construction of cryptographic protocols that balance between rigorousness of security guarantees and practicality. It also includes areas that span theoretical cryptography, applied network security, blockchain security, and economical aspects of secure cloud computing.
