Research Overview Communication is essential in our daily life. While all professionals are good communicators in their fields, communicating across different domains and professions requires different strategies, technologies, training, and cross-domain knowledge to repackage domain-specific knowledge for receivers from other domains and the public.
This interpersonal and interprofessional communication skill is an area to explore and is currently restrained by the limited number of academics who have research and working knowledge across multiple domains.
I wish my experience and work in interprofessional communication, collaborative knowledge repository construction, NLP and corpus linguistics can narrow this gap, create new knowledge and develop practical guidelines to improve real-world professional practices within and across domains.
