Biography

Dr. Lei Xue [cv] is a research assistant professor in Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), advised by Xiapu Luo and co-advised by Jiannong Cao. Before his Ph.D. study, He received the Master and the Bachelor degree from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, advised by Guozi Sun. He also interned in Qihoo360, collaborating with Yajin Zhou, during his Ph.D. study. Dr. Lei Xue is widely interested in designing and implementing efficient and practical security systems, with a particular focus on applying hybrid program/application analysis techniques, network traffic analysis methodology, and machine learning based alogrithms to addressing challenging security and privacy issues in mobile, automotive, and network systems. Currently, his research topics mainly foucus on mobile and IoT system security, program analysis, and automotive security. |
