Katherine received her PhD in Information Systems from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research aims to understand individual activities on social media, online marketing, and IT innovation and implementation in different contexts, using a variety of research methods such as econometrics, machine learning, and field experiment. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Information Systems Research and Journal of the Association for Information Systems. Prior to joining PolyU, Katherine worked in Fintech industry as a big data analyst.
