Dr. Fung received his BSc and PhD in Physics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2002 and 2008 respectively. Before Dr Fung joined Hong Kong PolyU, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois (UIUC) from Feb 2009 to Dec 2010 and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from Feb 2011 to Aug 2012.
Research Area:
Our research focuses on the Theories of Nano-photonics, Plasmonics, Metamaterials, Photonic crystals, Phononic crystals, Nonlinear Plasmonics, Topological Photonics, and Optomechanics.
