Consultancy
Being a faculty member in PolyU, one of his/her objectives is to conduct research of an applied nature both for the advancement of knowledge as well as for underpinning teaching, with due emphasis given to support the industrial and economic development of the HK community. Thus, I look upon consultancy work with local industries as an extension of my research capabilities. I have been developing high level consultancy activities which can lead to long term partnership with the industrial establishment involved and breed further R&D projects of mutual interest. I seek to establish partnership with local companies to exploit product development based on my research results.
In teaching, we do not impose our wills on the students, but introduce them to the many mansions of the heritage in which we ourselves strive to live, and to the improvement of which we are ourselves dedicated. Israel Scheffler, World-renowned Philosophercation
