Dr. Darren Bryant has worked in the Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change (APCLC) since 2010 and the Department of Education Policy and Leadership (EPL) since 2012. During this period, he served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Educational Administration--the oldest journal in its field, and Programme Coordinator of the IELC. Currently, he is Associate Director of the APCLC, and Head of EPL.
In 2011, he completed his PhD at The University of Hong Kong following 12 years as a history and social sciences teacher in a through-train international school. Eight years of them were in leadership positions including department head and schoolwide curriculum coordinator. So he is particularly interested in middle leadership in schools and how schools develop leaders.
