Dr. Connie Yuen isHead of Department of Applied Data Science andAssistant Professorat Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU).In 2019, she joined Department of Journalism and Communication at HKSYU as an Assistant Professor. Before joining HKSYU, Dr. Yuen has over 10 years’ experiences on teaching at tertiary education and working on various research projects at different universities. Dr. Yuen’s research interests include crowdsourcing, human computation, big data application, data mining, machine learning and computer network. She received her B.Sc. degree in Computer Studies and her M.Phil. degree in Information Technology at City University of Hong Kong and her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a senior member of IEEE (SMIEEE) and a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI).
