BIO
Patricia Warren has worked as a teacher of English since 1986, dealing with a variety of subjects in the field of EFL, including General English, English for Academic Purposes, Business English, English Pronunciation and English for Young Learners. She has taught in the UK, Denmark, Belgium, Portugal, Ecuador and China. Patricia has introduced numerous new programmes, courses, workshops and activities into the Language Centre, Hong Kong Baptist University
From 2001 to 2003, she was the coordinator of the Language Proficiency Course for Teachers of English (LPATE), and the English Bridging Course from 2004 to 2014. She was Head of the English Language Enhancement Programme from 2004-2014 and from 2016 to 2018. In 2016, she was invited to be the first Associate Head of the Language Centre. Patricia was co-investigator in a six-year Strategic Development Fund Project, entitled Evaluating the English Language Proficiency of HKBU Students through the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) from 2010 to 2016.
