BIO
With his Ph.D. from English Department of City University of Hong Kong focusing on GRE writing test preparation, Simon is privileged to join the Language Center to help HKBU students develop their academic literacies and critical thinking skills in a world now shaped by digital technologies. His research interests include discourse analysis and computer assisted language learning. Inspired by Richard Stallman, Lawrence Lessig and Aaron Swartz, Simon is committed to Free Culture Movement and believes that the world will be a better place if all creative works and scholarship are freely shared in digital forms. ?
