Short Biography


Dr. Kirsty Lee graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006 and obtained specialist qualification in medical oncology in 2013. She was awarded a distinction by Cardiff University for diploma certification in palliative medicine in 2016. She obtained fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2019 after working in St George Hospital, Sydney.
During her medical training in Hong Kong, her research included molecular diagnostics in lung cancer, and supportive care. Her practice and research in Sydney focused on cancers of the lung, breast, gynaecological and gastrointestinal malignancies.
Dr Lee has obtained travel grants from the European Society of Medical oncology (ESMO), and the Australia and Asia Pacific Clinical Oncology Resarch Development Workshop. She has represented and advised the Hong Kong Alliance for Rare Diseases in advocating better services for patients with rare cancers.
