Introduction
Harold Chui obtained his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University of Toronto and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park. He completed postdoctoral research in psychotherapy at The Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology in New York. He is a Licensed Psychologist in New York, Registered Counselling Psychologist in The Hong Kong Psychological Society, and Certified Counsellor in The Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association.

Harold teaches counselling-related courses (e.g., school guidance and counselling, personal growth, counselling techniques and process) at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and currently serves as Associate Dean of Students at Lee Woo Sing College at CUHK. He is also an associate editor for Psychotherapy and an editorial board member for Journal of Counseling Psychology.



Research Areas
Harold's research interests include multicultural issues in counselling, psychotherapist training and supervision, counselling process and outcome, and teacher and student mental health.
