BiographyStephen Ho is President – Greater China, Global Operations of Hyatt Hotels Corporation.? ?In his role, Mr. Ho takes overall responsibility for the growth and operation of hotel network, owner relations and people development in the Greater China region. Prior to joining Hyatt, Mr. Ho was Chief Executive Officer, Greater China Region at Marriott International, Inc., where he oversaw almost 600 hotels in operation and under construction. Before joining Marriott, Mr. Ho was the Asia Pacific President for Starwood Hotels & Resorts where he hadstrategic oversight of the operating and financial performance of over 240 hotels and resorts with more than 65,000 rooms and over 65,000 associates in 21 countries in Asia-Pacific.
A native of Singapore and a Hong Kong permanent resident, Mr. Ho completed his EMBA degree with the University of Ottawa in Canada. He also possesses a technical diploma from the Singapore Hotel & Catering School, and won numerous culinary medals and awards. Mr. Ho is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Buddhism at Hong Kong University, reflecting a deep-seated interest in Eastern Philosophy. Other personal interests include marathon running, cycling, mindful practice, reading, and travelling.
