摘要A novel method of comparing two impedance cardiographs based on modelling the cardiovascular response to head up tilting is described. A regimen of four sequential 3-minute tilts was used in eight subjects. Continuous stroke volume (SV) and cardiac output (CO) measurements were recorded from: (i) the BoMed NCCOM3 and (ii) the RheoCardioMonitor (RCM). A simulated model of the tilting response was then constructed and fitted to measured data from both devices.
