摘要Hypercalcaemia is uncommon among patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Hong Kong, possibly because of the low dietary calcium intake in this population. We report here a case of severe hypercalcaemia in a patient with miliary tuberculosis and impaired renal function. We suggest that tuberculosis should be excluded in any febrile patient with hypercalcaemia, particularly in countries where it is still a common condition and an important cause of hypercalcaemia.
