Tim is an Instructor I working in the Language Centre. His language teaching career began in Hong Kong in 2006 and he has been teaching English for Academic and Specific Purposes at CityU for over a decade. He was a manager in the centre for over five years, and is now the centre’s Assessment Coordinator. His professional qualifications include the CELTA, the Delta, a Masters in Applied Linguistics and the IDLTM (the International Diploma in Language Teaching Management).
He has particular professional interest in academic leadership, examination, assessment for learning, feedback practices, and independent learning, and has considerable experience working in these fields. He is an academic submissions reviewer for the Asian Journal of Applied Linguistics.
