Associate Professor. Born 1982, in Hebei, China. His research interest is mainly on exploring the novel properties of nanomaterials in the computational way, including the DFT, molecular dynamics and lattice dynamics method. He has published 20 SCI papers, including 2 ESI highly cited papers, on the electronic/phononic structures of nanomaterials and their transport properties. Thetotal citation of these publicationsis410 times from Web of Science Indexes.

Surface/Interface effects on nanomaterials: electronic structures, thermal and electronic transport properties and their manipulation. Explore/Design nanomaterials with novel thermal-transport and thermoelectric properties. Development of computational methods and codes:
(1) Develop the code for the thermal-transport calculations of complex nanostructures based on the molecular dynamics method.
(2) Develop the code for the electronic transport calculation of nanomaterials based on the keldysh nonequilibrium Green function method and the real-space DFT. The present version of the code can calculate the electronic conductance of an atomic chain. More efforts are needed to keep the code going on.
