教育背景：1. 1987年4月-1990年4月，参加国防科技大学数学本科自学考试，1990年4月获得湖南省首届数学本科自学考试本科文凭。
2. 1992年9月-1995年6月，在湖南大学读应用数学硕士学位。3. 1998年9月-2001年6月， 在湖南大学读应用数学博士学位。4. 2001年10月-2003年9月，在武汉大学数学与统计学院从事应用数学博士后研究工作。2006年5月-2008年11月，在中南大学从事应用数学博士后研究工作。

工作经历： 1. 1985年7月-1992年7月，在湖南汉寿县的中学从事中学数学教育工作。2. 1992年9月-1995年6月，在湖南大学读应用数学硕士学位。3. 1995年7月-1998年8月，在湖南大学数学系教书，其中，于1996年5月评为讲师。4. 1998年9月-2001年9月，在湖南大学数学系当老师，其中，于2000年6月破格晋升为副教授。2001年10月-2003年9月，在武汉大学数学与统计学院从事应用数学博士后研究工作。2001年10月-2006年8月，在湖南大学数学院教书，其中，于2006年6月晋升教授。2006年9月-2007年1月，在广东外语外贸大学进行出国前的英语培训。2006年2月-2007年10月，在湖南大学数学院当老师。2007年11月-2008年11月，受国家留学基金委的全额资助，前往加拿大约克大学访问。2006年5月-2008年11月，在中南大学从事应用数学博士后研究工作。2007年11月-至今，在湖南大学数学院当老师. 以上有这样情况：边在湖南大学数学院工作，边博士后研究，边出国访问。

1992年-2009年，主要从事生物数学与泛函微分方程的研究工作，在《中国科学》，《数学学报英文版》，《Mathematical Proceedings of Cambridge Philosophical Society》， Nonlinear Analysis Theorey Method and Application, Nonlinear Analysis: Real World Application 等国内外重要期刊上以第一作者的身份发表了五十多篇高质量的论文。 2010-2022年，主要从事神经网络的理论及应用的研究工作，在国际顶级期刊与权威期刊上以第一作者与通讯作者的身份发表了四十多篇高质量的论文，其代表作如下：
