学习与工作经历
2001年毕业于中南林学院经济林专业，获农学学士学位；2001-2004年在中南林学院攻读生态学硕士学位，2004年获生态学理学硕士学位，2004年硕士毕业后一直在中南林业科技大学从事教学科研工作。2007年获得德国对外学术交流中心（DAAD）全额奖学金赴德国攻读博士学位，2011年获得德国弗莱堡大学（Albert-Ludwigs-Universit?t Freiburg）自然科学博士学位。
学术任职及奖励
中南林业科技大学教授，自然科学博士，博士生导师。中国林业学会森林生态分会理事，中国自然资源学会森林资源分会理事，湖南省生态学会常务理事，湖南省土壤与肥料学会会员，湖南省普通高校青年骨干教师，湖南省自然科学一等奖1项（排名第2）。
科研、教学及学术活动
主要从事森林生态系统定位研究，主要从事生物多样性与生态系统功能关系、根系生长和周转、地下生态学以及碳磷循环方面的研究。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、国家自然科学基金青年基金项目1项、湖南省教育厅优秀青年项目1项等。担任生命科学与技术学院副院长，承担森林生态学、生态学专业英语、全球生态学和根系生态学等研究生和本科生课程。为Plant and Soil、Forest Ecology and Management、Land Degradation and Development、Annals of Forest Science、Journal of Environmental Management、Soil Use and Management等国际学术期刊的审稿人。
