项文化,中南林业科技大学生命科学与技术学院院长,教授,生态学博士,博士生导师。湖南会同杉木林生态生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站站长。中国生态学会理事,中国林学会森林生态分会副主任委员,中国林学会杉木专业委员会副主任委员,中国自然资源学会森林资源专业委员会副主任委员,湖南省生态学会副理事长。2005年荣获第五届湖南省青年科技奖,2006年入选为教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划,享受国务院政府特殊津贴。国际期刊Land Degradation & Development编委,第十届《林业科学》编委会委员。
1988年毕业于中南林学院林学专业,获农学学士学位;1988年至1991年在中南林学院攻读森林生态学硕士学位,1991年获森林生态学硕士学位;2003年毕业于中南林学院,获生态学博士学位。2002年在澳大利亚国立大学(Australian National University)资源、环境与社会系访问****,2010年在奥地利维也纳大学(University of Vienna)生态系统与化学生态所访问****。
主要从事森林生态系统长期定位研究,研究内容为杉木林生产力和养分利用策略、亚热带次生林群落结构、地下细根多样性、土壤养分转化、森林碳汇及生产力模拟预测等领域。主持国家自然科学基金、科技部基础平台建设项目、国家重点研发项目子课题等项目20余项。在国内外学术期刊发表论文290篇,其中SCI源刊论文103篇,出版专著1部。获科研成果奖8项,其中国家科学技术进步二等奖1项,湖南省自然科学一等奖1项,湖南省科学技术进步一等奖、二等奖各1项。
