个人简介
副教授,研究方向为水下通信技术、水声探测技术、水声对抗技术。

第一作者及通讯作者共发表SCI、EI检索论文14篇,其中SCI共8篇。获发明专利授权21项,另有7项处于公布状态。作为副主编撰写 “十二五国家重点图书规划项目、国防特色学术专著”1本,该专著为“卫星导航原理”国家级精品课教材。独立指导硕士生共15人,留学生1人。

在研项目:作为项目负责人主持装备预研基金重点项目、国家重点实验室基金、博士后资助经费、教育部重点实验室基金、联合基金、黑龙江省自然科学基金等各类项目总经费500多万元,参与国防基础、科技委创新特区等项目共1000余万元。

完成项目:作为项目负责人主持国家重点实验室基金、博士后启动金、中央高校基本科研业务费等项目,作为技术负责人完成了国家863项目和国家自然科学基金,作为技术骨干完成国防基础、海装预研等项目。
教改项目:主持和参加教改立项共4项。

获黑龙江省自然科学技术学术成果奖二等奖一项、黑龙江省科技进步三等奖一项、黑龙江省教育厅科技进步二等奖一项、海洋工程科学技术一等奖。获得哈尔滨工程大学军政训练优秀干部奖励、优秀班主任和优秀共青团干部。

在美国Wright State University开展为期1年的通信技术的研究,同美国多所学校的专家学者展开了交流,在推荐研究生赴美攻读学位和学术交流方面达成了友好协议。

学术交流
在美国Wright State University开展为期1年的通信技术的研究,就合作导师所承担的美国空军基地科研项目进行了交流,参与了项目中可公开技术的研究。同美国多所学校的专家学者展开了交流,在推荐研究生赴美攻读学位和学术交流方面达成了一致意见。

Welcome
Xuefei Ma is a professor at Harbin Engineering University, College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering. He also went to Wright State University for a year of visiting scholar.
Ma's research is in the areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering which belongs to College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering. He is interested in underwater communication and underwater acoustic signal processing technology, to the research on Underwater Acoustic OFDM Channel Estimation and Equalization Technology.
He is an active member of the Acoustical Society of Heilongjiang province. He also is the reviewer of the IJDSN journal(SCI) and the guest editor of the SAGE journal(SCI). Xuefei Ma is the recipient of the Natural Science and Technology Academic Achievement Award's Second Prize of Heilongjiang Province, Scientific and Technological Progress Award's Third Prize of Heilongjiang Province, Department of Education Science and Technology Progress Award's Second Prize of Heilongjiang Province.
Research
My primary research interests are in the theory of underwater communication and underwater acoustic signal processing technology, with focus on OFDM.
The main idea of OFDM: the channels are divided into orthogonal subchannels, and the high-speed data signals are converted into parallel low speed sub-data streams, which are modulated to be transmitted on each subchannel. Orthogonal signals can be separated at the receiving end using related techniques, which can reduce the mutual interference (ISI) between subchannels. The signal bandwidth on each subchannel is less than the relevant bandwidth of the channel, so that each subchannel can be regarded as flat fading, then inter-symbol crosstalk can be eliminated, and since the bandwidth of each subchannel is only a fraction of the original channel bandwidth, channel equalization becomes relatively easy. This technique has many advantages, but there are some drawbacks left.
At present, I work on several problems in this area, and doing some researches.
