霍国燕，男，1964年6月出生，1981-1985在河北大学无机化学专业学习；1985-1988在中国科学院长春应用化学研究所攻读硕士学位；1995-1998年在北京科技大学攻读博士学位；1999-2000年在德国Max-Planck研究所读博士后。现为材料物理与化学学科专业与无机化学硕士生导师，现任材料物理与化学专业组长。
一、 教学：主讲本科生课程【无机化学】、【专业外语】、【无机固体化学】、【材料化学】、【无机及分析化学】等。主讲研究生课程【无机材料化学】、【材料化学及进展】、【固体化学】、【材料工程基础】和【无机材料进展】
二、科学研究：主要从事非金属氧化物信息与功能材料、纳米氧化物、磁性纳米金属的研究。发表论文70余篇，其中被SCI、EI摘录40余篇。
