武汉大学物理科学与技术学院物理系教授博士生导师。1956年出生于武汉,1978年-1982年湖北大学物理系本科,获学士学位;1988年-1994年武汉大学物理系凝聚态物理研究生,获硕士
目前主讲课程:珠峰计划弘毅班“University Physics”,电子科技专业:固体物理学(一),物理学专业:固体物理学(二)。
目前研究方向:
主要涉及实验与计算凝聚态物理的两个领域
1.固体关联电子体系自旋有序、电荷有序和轨道有序,及其相关的超导、电荷/轨道密度波、异常磁电阻行为等;
2.能源材料中高效热电材料的设计及性能优化,强场电绝缘材料的老化与击穿机理;
主持在研项目:
1国家973项目:“高效热电转换材料及器件的基础研究”子课题。
2国家973项目“变电设备内绝缘时效老化机理与评估模型及预测方法”子课题。
3国家自然科学基金项目:“新型Spinel轨道有序MgTi2O4和电荷有序LiRh2O4体系的相变和电输运”
