个人简介
周远扬，教授，博士生导师，数学与统计学学院院长，湖北省数学会常务理事。洪堡****，2008年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划，2016年获国家自然科学基金****科学基金资助。主要研究块代数的结构性质及其分类，主要研究课题有Alperin权猜想、Alperin-McKay猜想、Broué交换亏群猜想等

1993-1997年，湖北大学数学系本科，获理学学士学位1997-2002年，武汉大学数学系硕博连读，获理学博士学位

工作经历
2002年7月至2004年6月，武汉大学基础与应用数学基地讲师2004年7月至今，华中师范大学数学与统计学学院副教授、教授2008年1月至2009年8月，获德国洪堡基金资助，在德国耶拿大学数学研究所合作研究
