笔名舟子，男，70后行者，长沙人，原籍道州。副教授。民间美术与本原艺术文化学博士，后现代与艺术现象学硕士，中国美院美术学专业本科。
从师靳之林等先生，学承徐悲鸿和汤一介及王伯敏等余脉。
先后在浙、湘、滇、陕、京等地学习或工作，从事民间美术与鼋学，艺术与现象学，传统文化与现代设计或创作等研究与实践。
在《中国陶瓷》等传媒上发表文章70余篇；
编撰《艺术概论新编》等书稿3部；
作品入选百人会英才奖并有多幅作品发表或被海内外人士收藏。主持《中国后现代艺术批评重大问题研究》等课题8项。
