Prof. Ir. Dr. Goh Hui Hwang received his B.Eng. (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, in 1998. In 1999, he was awarded the research scholarship from UTM and received his M.Eng.in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He was subsequently awarded the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Postgraduate Research Scholarships to pursue his PhD and obtained his PhD from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia.Prof. Ir. Dr. Goh joined the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Parit Raja, as a lecturer in the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering since 2008. Since then he rose to the rank of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Associate Professor. Now, he is a professor at School of Electrical Engineering, Guangxi University.

Over the years, Prof. Ir. Dr. Goh has been very actively involved in professional engineering associations and bodies both at International and national levels to promote engineering. He is a registered Chartered Engineer & Professional Engineer registered with Engineering Council United Kingdom (ECUK) & Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) respectively. He is a Senior Member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE USA), Advisor to The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia Student Section UTHM (IEM SS UTHM) to promote Engineering.He currently sits on The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) Southern branch as a co-opted committee member to provide feedback to enhance the fellow engineers matters, a member of IEM Logbook training Scheme committee, IET International Professional Review Advisor, Professional Registration Interviewer, IET Engineering Programme Accreditation Panel, as well as Professional Engineers Interviewer.Due to his vast experience in programme accreditation, he is constantly being invited and served as senior accreditation panel, head of delegation for the National Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) to lead evaluation team to evaluate engineering programmes in the country. This is to ensure all Malaysian engineering programmes have met the international standard as part of the WASHINGTON ACCORORD requirements. He was also invited to be the team in the review of the 2017 EAC manual.
