2007年获清华大学电机系工学学士学位,2010年分别在清华大学材料系和东京工业大学电子物理系获得工学双硕士学位, 2013年获东京工业大学电子物理博士学位。2013年加入苏州大学功能纳米及软物质研究院,担任副教授。分别于2013年12月至2014年2月以及2015年1月至2015年3月在东京工业大学担任特任研究员。2014年5月调职到中国科学院北京纳米能源与系统研究所,加入王中林院士的研究团队,任副研究员。2017年6月,被提拔为青年研究员,独立领导课题组。入选北京市青年拔尖人才,北京市科技新星,北京市特聘专家。陈翔宇主要从事聚合物功能材料及纳米能源器件的相关研究,包括纳米发电机、固液界面电荷转移机理、智能形变材料与器件、微流控器件、可穿戴传感器件等方向,在Nat Common,EES,Adv Mater,Materials Today,ACS Nano,Adv. Funct. Mater., Nano Energy等杂志发表SCI学术论文共50余篇。其中,第一作者(共同一作)和通讯作者的文章40余篇,影响因子大于10的文章28篇。目前作为项目负责人主持国家自然科学基金的青年基金(26万)和面上基金(60万),主持北京市面上基金(20万),科技新星(40万)和高创计划(50万)。作为骨干成员参与国家重点研发计划“纳米科技”重点专项。2018年担任广西大学-中国科学院北京纳米能源与系统研究所纳米能源研究中心兼职副教授。
