学习和工作经历教授，博士生导师，1995年于华南理工大学获得博士学位。2001年至2003年在美国乔治亚理工学院及美国制浆造纸研究院（IPST）从事清洁化制浆造纸技术研究，2006至2007年作为高级访问学者赴加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学（UBC）从事制浆造纸过程污染控制技术及理论研究。现任广西大学轻工与食品工程学院院长兼院党委副书记，泛北部湾特色资源加工新技术“211工程”重点学科带头人。首批新世纪“百千万人才工程”国家级人选，国务院学位委员会第六届学科评议组轻工技术与工程组成员，教育部轻工与食品学科教学指导委员会委员，享
