研究方向
细菌耐药性及其代谢调控

学术成就
长期以来从事细菌耐药及其代谢调控方面的研究。近年来,通过功能代谢组学发现,耐药菌的代谢状态决定耐药性。通过关键代谢物将细菌的耐药代谢状态逆转为敏感代谢状态,从而提高耐药菌对抗生素的敏感性,促进胞外抗生素进入胞内,提高胞内抗生素浓度,高效杀死细菌。细菌耐药代谢组的发现和关键代谢物逆转耐药性新概念的提出,对建立控制细菌耐药的新策略具有十分重要的价值。此外,从宿主中发现抗耐药菌代谢状态生物标志物作为调节物,使宿主从对病原菌敏感代谢状态转为对病原菌抵抗状态,增强宿主抗感染能力,减轻和消除病原菌对宿主的侵染作用。并在研究细菌耐药性的过程中,发现在一个新的产能循环,丙酮酸循环而不是三羧酸循环为细菌提供能量。
