学术成就
主要学术贡献：
关于流域恢复，提出并验证了“河岸带连续体”的新理论(Zhou et al., 2014)，提出用景观指标评估水体恢复的新方法(Zhou et al., 2012)，单篇被引130多篇次；
量化研究了不同大小的道路对植被和土壤的作用，提出宽度来解释道路对森林影响的机制(Zhou et al., 2020)。
研究了道路廊道在外来种扩散中的功能，提出预测区域外来植物丰富度的新方法(通讯作者, 2020)
作为副主编出版《澳门植被志》，提出中国植被新类群，为澳门获评中国十大魅力湿地提供重要学术支撑；
提出生态替代的方法，解决了互花米草入侵控制和本地红树林恢复的世界难题(Zhou et al., 2015)，该文章被“自然出版集团”认为是优秀科学研究成果进行新闻发布，“中国科学报”等多十余家媒体进行了广泛报道。
