? 长期从事热带动力学研究,主要研究热带季节内振荡形成发展的机制以及气候系统对于不同外强迫的敏感性: 1)建立了热带季节内振荡尺度相互作用的理论模型,基于该模型提出东亚夏季风次季节降水可预报性的主要模态; 2)揭示了气候系统对于不同自然强迫(太阳/火山)响应的物理机制,为评估改进数值模型性能提供新的视角。发表Journal of Climate, Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences, Climate Dynamics, Science Advance, Nature Climate Change等SCI论文60余篇。?
