? ? ? ? 加入中山大学前,覃章才博士工作于美国能源部/芝加哥大学阿贡国家实验室,主持(PI或co-I)多项气候、能源及温室气体排放相关科研项目。所主持和参与开发的多款能源与环境生态系统模型得到学术界、工业界和政府部门的认可和广泛应用。主编和参编美国地球物理学会及美国能源部书籍三部,发表一系列学术论文。曾兼任美国能源部?SULI项目导师,美国地球物理学会书籍主编,以及NSF、NBB和 CRC等机构特邀研讨专家,并长期为学界、工业及政府部门提供科技咨询。目前担任国际期刊Global Change Biology Bioenergy编委、Agronomy Journal?副编、以及40余国际机构和学术期刊的审稿专家(DOE, USDA, EPA, NSFC; Wiley, Springer; ACP, AFM, AGEE, ERL, EST, GCB, RSER, Nature系列等?)。

Research interests: Global climate and environmental change, energy-food-environment nexus, nature-based climate solutions, ecological modeling, economy-energy-atmospheric environment life cycle modeling.
? ? Dr. Zhangcai Qin is a professor in the School of Atmospheric Sciences at the Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU).?Dr. Q’s research lies in the field of global environmental change with a focus on energy-food-environment nexus studying the interactions among atmosphere, ecosphere and human dimensions. Currently the Q lab is actively seeking nature-based climate solutions and energy system GHG reductions.?
? ? Prior to join SYSU, Dr. Q worked as PI and co-I in?multiple?projects at DOE Argonne National Laboratory (by UChicago). He has served as panelist on NSF, NBB and CRC panel boards, and as DOE SULI mentor. Dr. Q?is a frequent consultant to academia, industry and government agencies. He is a member of the editorial advisory board of Global Change Biology Bioenergy, Associate Editor of Agronomy Journal, and referee for over 40 international journals.?He was a Lead Editor of the AGU book bioenergy and land use change, and contributor of two?other books (by AGU and DOE, respectively).
? ? Dr. Q received his Ph.D. in?Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences from Purdue University.??
