【研究方向】
通过分子系统学、群体遗传学、基因组学、生态学野外实验等方法，开展鸟类的生态和适应性进化，特别是繁殖和迁徙行为的研究，探索进化和生态因素对于行为多样性的塑造。通过形态、鸣声、生态位模型和比较分析，研究中国濒危、特有物种的系统分类和地理分布。特别是探讨在当前快速全球化对于鸟类表型和遗传多样性的保护启示。
