主要学术研究成果与贡献：
1、基于巨噬细胞、嗜酸粒细胞等免疫细胞的感染免疫及免疫代谢改善代谢综合征。探讨线虫感染触发黏膜免疫调节代谢紊乱及宿主保护性Th2记忆机制；探讨内外源分子的免疫代谢效应及其时空感应机制，如证实内源性粘膜免疫分子IL-25通过极化巨噬细胞、增强线粒体呼吸容量、诱导脂肪米色化改善代谢稳态而有助于防治肥胖、糖尿病等代谢综合征，证实外源性小分子丹参酮及其系列化学修饰衍生物调节糖脂代谢的免疫代谢效应及其信号通路。
2、靶向血管内皮细胞防治血管增生性疾病如糖尿病并发症、实体性肿瘤。主要开展血管增生相关因子研究，如VEGF拮抗高血糖诱导的内皮细胞损伤机制；PEDF功能结构域鉴定及抗肿瘤研究。
