1992毕业于中山医科大学医学系本科毕业，获医学学士学位。1999在中山医科大学获医学博士学位。2000–2003年分别在美国德州大学MDAndersonCancerCenter和VanAndelResearchInstitute接受博士后培训。2004开始在VanAndelResearchInstitute（VARI）担任ResearchScientist。2006在NationalCancerCenterSingapore（NCCS）受聘兼职SeniorScientist，随后于2007年在该单位受聘兼职DeputyDirectoroftheNCCS-VARITranslationalResearchLaboratory。2007年6月，作为中山大学百人计划引进人才在中山大学肿瘤防治中心鼻咽科担任研究员、博士生导师。2008年被中国卫生部聘为“健康中国2020”战略研究专家。2008年开始担任中山大学肿瘤防治中心院长助理。2009年底开始担任《癌症》杂志副主编。
研究领域：鼻咽癌远处转移的分子机制和临床诊治、实体瘤血管生成与淋巴管生成的机制研究、恶性肿瘤的动物模型研究。
