毛艳萍,2016年入选深圳市“孔雀计划”高层次人才,2017年入选深圳市南山区“领航人才”,2018年入选广东省“珠江人才”计划“青年拔尖人才”。主要从事水污染控制与环境生物技术方向的研究,包括水处理功能菌群结构及降解机理研究、高效污水处理工艺开发和优化、抗生素耐药菌微生物组学研究等。目前承担国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金、深圳市基础研究项目和高端人才启动项目等10余项。已在《Environmental Science and Technology》、《Water Research》、《Bioresource Technology》、《Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology》、《化学进展》、《微生物学通报》等国内外学术期刊上发表论文40余篇,其中第一作者/通讯作者20余篇,授权国家发明专利1项,正申请国家发明专利3项。担任《Environmental Science and Technology》、《Water Research》、《Bioresource Technology》、《Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology》等多个期刊评审专家。

Dr. Yanping Mao is currently an assistant professor/associate research fellow at college of chemistry and environmental engineering at Shenzhen University. She received her B.S. in environmental science and engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2007, M. phil. degree in environmental engineering at East China University of Science and Technology in 2010, and Ph.D. degree in water and environmental engineering at The University of Hong Kong in 2014. She studied at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA) as a visiting scholar from Jan. 2014 to May 2014 and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at The University of Hong Kong from Oct. 2014 to Mar. 2016. Her current research interests mainlyfocusonwater pollution control and environmental biotechnology, including the research on the structure and degradation mechanism of functional bacteria in water treatment, the development of efficient wastewater treatment technology and the microbiome of antibiotic resistant bacteria.She has undertaken morethan10 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province etc. So far, she has achieved more than 40 high-quality research outputs in top-tier journals, such as Environ. Sci. Technol., Water Res., Bioresour. Technol., Appl. Microbiol. Biotechnol., etc. and served as a review expert for several top journals.

1.研究废水处理过程中的能源和资源回收新技术及微生物生态学;
2.富集新型的功能菌群,提高污染物降解和能源回收效率;
3.开发针对水体中微生物菌群的快速检测方法;
4.揭示光催化耦合微生物降解污染物的机理与途径。
研究兴趣在于了解更多关于废水处理过程的机制和重要功能细菌的生态学。利用微生物组学方法用于研究基因表达是如何被调控的,并发现以前未被认识的生化途径,这可能对理解细胞内的能量、碳、氮和磷等循环代谢至关重要。
Research Interests
1. Emerging technologies and microbial ecology in wastewater treatment process to recover energy and resource.
2.Enrichment of new functional bacteria to improve pollutant degradation and energy recovery efficiency.
3. To develop a rapid detection method for microbial flora in water.
4. Study the mechanism and pathway of photocatalytic coupled microbial degradation of pollutants.
I am interested in learning more about the mechanism responsible for wastewater treatment process and the ecology of significant functional bacteria. Metagenomics and post-genomics methods are used to study how gene expression is regulated, and to discover previously unrecognized biochemical pathways that may be critically important for understanding the energy, carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus budgets within the cell.
