本课题组致力于以生物质为原料制备新型碳纳米材料并研究其在电化学能源存储于转化(超级电容器、锂电池、钠电池、电催化氧还原、钙钛矿太阳能电池、染料敏化太阳能电池)、水体有机物吸附、海水淡化(电容去离子)等领域中的应用。这些研究课题的意义包括:
(1)生物质中的部分天然高分子具有良好的石墨化能力,大部分生物质来源广泛、价格低廉,将这些生物质碳化不仅可以将廉价废弃物高值化利用,更可以解决环境污染问题(生物质中含有的木质素是目前水体有机物污染物中最大的来源)
(2) 生物质在一定催化剂作用下可以转化成多种形式的新型碳材料(碳纳米薄片,石墨烯,碳纳米纤维等),是碳素家族中重要的一大类,很多科学问题有待探索。
(3)多孔碳材料具有广阔的化学改性与形貌、微观结构调控空间,具有良好的应用前景。
